Can you clarify why there are no women priests?

I am somewhat confused about women in priesthood issue.#1 I know that if Jesus wanted women to be priest he could of chosen them to be ,but did not.#2 And that it is an unbroken tradition that goes back to the apostles and Christ himself.But Galatians3:26-29 has me some what confused about this.and there are others i can bring up that are in the Bible but before i get “tangeled up” in reading everything that the internet has to offer me I would like to ask you.
