I recently decided to consecrate myself to Our Blessed Lady, so I am currently reading St. Louis de Monfort’s masterpiece, True Devotion to Mary.
At the same time I have also decided to wear a Brown Scapular. The problem is that I recently heard that if I consecrated to Our Lady I’d receive the most benefit by joining the Confraternity of Mary, at the same time many recommend me to join the Brown Scapular Confraternity, thus joining the Carmelite family as I have decided to wear a Brown Scapular.
Is it okay to join multiple confraternities? Or do I have to choose one?
