Can you explain about slavery?

Hello,

Tthe problem I have is with slavery in the Bible. There is clearly no condemnation of slavery in the Bible, even by Jesus himself.

At best we have Paul sending a slave back to his master while his master is told to be kind to the slave and treat him like a brother in Christ. There, however, is no explicit message to free the slave in question.
