Can you explain the Church position on masonic orders?

i feel in my spirit that there is something not right with mason order, my cousin is supposed to be going into this over the weekend & asked me to attend. my spirit doesn’t want me to but i don’t really understand what this is all about. can you explain? thank you jericho7
