Can you give me source to a list of Popes?

I’m in a conversation with a Protestant who has PHD so it has been an interesting conversation…this person is saying that the book of Popes is incorrect…that names were added and that Pope Pius XII deleted several names of Popes that were incorrect, I believe in 1947…can you give me source to research or can you answer this?
