Can you give some scriptual reference for praying to saints and the Rosary ?

I have 2 simple questions that are very important to me as I am ex protestant and now renowed catholic

I am haveing an issue with rosary and praying to saints(including Mary)

some scriptual reference and historical proof of practicing those things in early christianity would mean a lot to me
