Can you have an angel as a patron saint?

Can you have an angel as a saint? For example can you chose St. Michael as your patron saint or is that not done?
 
Sure it can be done: How many Catholic Michaels do you know?

Yes. St. Micheal is one of my patron saints. He is the patron saint of the Church or one of the patron saints as well.

Of course, I have several Michaels, two Gabriels, several Michelles and Gabriellas, and one Rafael in my confirmation class.
