I am Catholic, however my best friend goes to a non-denominational church, we have been best friends for almost 20 years, I love her to death but we are always at a difference regarding the bible.
We have a regular bible study for women every Tues night, and it just frustrates me sometimes when I don’t know the full answers to some topics such as the Virgin Mary. My friend and her husband say that Mary was just an ordinary human, whom did not die a Virgin that she did have more children and that she was not ascended into heaven. I have searched for scriptures for these details and I have not come up with much on the Virgin Mary.
Can you tell me where I can find some scriptures regarding her and her acsension into heaven?
Thank you so much!

Pamela,

These links should get you well on your way to crushing the errors of sola scriptura and of the Protestant view of Mary. The first box has books you can purchase from Catholic Answers or check out of your parish library and the remaining boxes have articles, radio programs, and threads which address your friends’ misguided attacks. If you have any further questions or concerns that are not answered by these links, please contact Catholic Answers directly.
