My question arises from something I read on another thread, but I can’t find it now.
“Upon this rock” – some Protestants (Calvinists, I think, but I’m not sure) attach importance to the difference in Greek between “petros” in the masculine, a small stone or pebble, and “petra” in the feminine, the living rock, not detached from the ground. I saw a comment or answer in which it was stated that in Aramaic the two words are the same. Could someone kindly confirm this and, if possible, give me the full sentence in Aramaic, or at least the words, “Thou art Peter and upon this rock …”
