Greetings Brother/sister in Jesus Christ.
I would like to know the best way to recognize the gift of tongues or someone praying in tongues.
As a background, I have received the (Original) Gift of Tongues as well as the gift of Interpretation of Tongues. I say “Original” because my words are Non-repetitive and completely unplanned (I do not know what my next word will be).
I have had claims of people who say that they possess this gift of tongues and all I hear is “Sha da da da da. Sha da da da”. I do not believe that this is the gift of tongues and (naturally) I cannot interpret it.
Please do let me know a few guidelines in recognizing the True Gift of the Holy Spirit, the Gift of Tongues.
