Can you help me understand the difference between God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

This has been on my mind I know God the father is the creator of the universe and his son is Incarnate became man and has two distinct Nature’s One Divine one human my understanding that worship is only for God the Father alone and not Jesus am I right? Jesus is a mediator between us and the father? Is it right to worship Jesus in a sense he is God incarnate as the divine nature as well human? my belief is that worship is only due to the God the father please explain thank you
