Can you help me with St Paul's Letters and pre-destination?

This is really bothering me as I’m trying to make a concerted effort to read and study his letters. I also get confronted with it in apologetics situations. I don’t believe in predestination, I know the Church says it’s not so, but I must have reason and prefer some Scripture to support. I’m vaguely aware of Molinism (sp), but I forgot others, even Thomas’s reasoning.
