Can you help me with these thoughts?

Hello… I hope you dont think im nuts but I am just trying to do the right thing. How do you confess and should it be confessed that you become sexually aroused. Sometimes impure thoughts are so strong I find it happens and I feel like I sinned. Part of me is battleing the thought while part of me wants to take pleasure it, sometimes it happnes on the way to church. Do I just confess impure desires and impure thoughts?

I am gay which makes me feel worse and I get impure thoughts in the confessional box, and in the past I just say I get impure thougghts when I recieve the sacrements. Can you educate me?

Hi,

It is not necessary to be any more explicit that you are being. For all practical purposes, impure thoughts are impure thoughts. Besides, if they are involuntary, they are not sinful. You sound a bit obsessive. The more your think about how you feel, the more you worry about such things. I doubt that any of this is sinful for you. When such thoughts happen, give thanks to the Lord that you want Him the most. And keep saying this in your mind. He is the one that you need to think of–because He loves you so much.
