I’d like some (name removed by moderator)ut on a serious matter. My middle daughter
(28yrs. old) is getting married. In Las Vegas by a J.P. I’ve told my daughter I cannot take part, and thats it is a matter of right relationships not a matter of being right or wrong, ours with God and each other as children of God.
She was also upset at that.

She is naturally, Very Upset!!! This is her First marriage.
Her mother and I divorced many years ago and received an anullement. Nicole was 6yrs old at the time.
I believe she has had a abortion and has not been to confession. She has told me she is going to church. I have stressed the importance of her seeking help and going to confession, also that she should not be receiveing Communion.

Maybe I need to speak with a GOOD Priest, but at my Parish I'm not so sure of their following the teachings of the Magisterium.
So can I or better yet should I morally be involved in this wedding??
I told Nicole, I'd make it to the reception or whatever kind of gathering they may have afterwards, but could not be at this ceremony. She is beside herself in grief and now I'm hurting as well. Please someone or direct this to a Good Priest to give me some solid advice. I also don't want to stand before the Lord someday and be asked WHY I gave my approval to this by my presence there. HELP!
