Go to Mass, receive the Body & Blood of Jesus, knowing that your supposed to be in Communion with the Blessed Trinity, and still vote for a pro-abortion politician, knowing too well the words of Jesus ? " Let the little children come to Me, if anyone scandalizes anyone of these little ones, it would be far better for them to tie a milestone round their necks & cast it into the depths of the sea… Jesus wouldn’t vote for a pro-abortionist !

How about politicians who are against abortion but make exceptions when “rape or incest” are involved. Regardless of how the baby is conceived the baby is not at fault and should be allowed to live.

I agree that the argument that abortion should be allowed in such cases is rediculous and completely missing the point of why abortion is evil. However, if such a candidate is running against someone that would put no restrictions on abortion at all, the choice is still obvious.

You’d have to first believe that there is any kind of chance that the politician in question plans on making good on the party platform promise… After nearly 30 years of undelivered promises I honestly don’t know how anyone believes that anymore.

When a politican can bank on a block of voters who will vote for him without his having to do anything but say the right words during a campaign, why would he or anyone else in his party want to make the kind of radical change that would make that vote driving issue go away? One issue voters are a campaign dream, say the right words and they’ll ignore everything else-even things you’ve actually done.

Very scary and quite true.

They’re included in the original post…

The same old promises are coming, the smile has got wider, the teeth are gleaming, the same old, same old, that people still believe in. The post-mortem ? nothing has changed, just a lot of dead babies, I pray to God that your thumb-print isn’t on the paper…

Yes, but when that one issue has to deal with taking the life of an infant, then it’s A BIG ISSUE !!!
