Can you name some small good towns for a catholic to live?

I am not into big city life. What are some small sized towns in USA that are good for Catholics. Thanks in advance
 
How small is small? How big is too big?

Are you dreaming about having your nearest neighbor (or the next town) miles away?

Do you want to be close to a major city w/out being in the “inner ring suburbs”?

Are you looking for something “off the grid”?

Can you be more specific about what you are looking for?

Cullman, Alabama, the Catholic buckle on the Baptist Bible Belt. A great parish, and four (count 'em, FOUR) monasteries in the county, including Mother Angelica’s OLAM Shrine.
 
anywhere in South Louisiana, Especially south of Baton Rouge and New Orleans
 
I’ll reccommend Gettysburg, PA. A great parish, St Francis Xavier, great pastor, Fr. Pistone, and we are just 10 miles from Mount St Mary’s and the National Shrine of Mother Seton. We are very close to Baltimore and DC and yet have all the small town charm and foibles you ld want, And…health care is great!
 
Depending on where you live now and where you would be willing to move. I come from a valley where there are many small towns that are close to a very Catholic university, and not far from a larger metropolitan area. We have the best of both worlds. Loretto, PA.
It’s very small town, but in a very Catholic area, albeit less so than 20 years ago.
Bishop Carroll is always in the top ten Catholic high school list.
People take their faith seriously.
 
There are good places for Catholics to live all over the country and all over the world. When we moved to the south, my only requirement was a Catholic Church nearby. We are very happy here in a small town where faith is key for all the residents and all the churches are active, but none more beautifully that the Catholic Church. Traveling extensively, I know that wherever Catholics gather and pray is a good place to be.🙂

God bless you on your journey but just a thought: no matter where you live, even if it is a town filled with Catholics and daily Mass goers…you will have a town filled with sinners and hypocrites and gossips and people you may not even like. Not to discourage you or anything just being honest that the Catholic church is a draw and a place for sinners to heal themselves as it should be. As the old saying goes the church is not a museum for saints but a hospital for sinners.

What Monicad says is true, as far as it goes, but there is quite a difference between living among sinful Catholics and living among secularists, atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, even Protestants. There is a difference between living in 13th century Italy and 21st century Saudi Arabia (or even 21st century Italy). Both are replete with sinners, but the cultural atmosphere in which one moves and breaths is quite different. Holiness, of course, can be achieved in either scenario, but it might be easier in one than the other.
 
Do yourself a favor and check the Catholic community of Ave Maria in Florida. We have visited and it is remarkable.
 
TARRAT and I are close together geographically. South Central PA, Western MD, and surrounding areas of WV are great.
 
I’d expand this area to include most of western PA as well, except maybe Pittsburgh and the immediate vicinity since urban really isn’t the OP’s style. I attended college in western PA and loved it.

Is theTridentine/Traditional Latin Mass available there? The TLM with the Missal of 1962 under Rome.

Any town where you set up a domestic church :). Seriously…any town in America needs a solid Catholic family!
