My husband is troubled by reception of communion in the hand. He was raised in a family that only attends the Tridentine mass and he expresses great frustration as to why the church has not rescinded this practice in non-Tridentine masses.
Could an apologist point me to a resource(s) or document(s) that I could share with him indicating that receiving communion in the hand is allowed? To those who view this post, I’m not asking for a discussion of reverence…we know that communion must be taken reverently however it is done. I just hope to find some information I can share with him so he feels less upset by this. Thank you in advance!
