Can you please help me understand the Mennonites?

Hi I have a family member who is leaving the Catholic Church to join a Mennonite church. I have no knowledge about the Mennonites. Can you please help and inform me so I can try to understand her. I feel like she doesn’t know much about the religion either so it would really hep for me to know so I can help her.
