Can you recommend a Bible?

My 52 year old daughter is a non-practicing Catholic, who loves to read. I want to give her a Bible for her birthday. She is very bright and well-educated, in every thing except her religion. I would like one that she can keep her family records in, and HOPEFULLY, actually pick up and read someday. Can I get some recommendations? Thank you.
