Can you take communion at church if you bisexual but do not act on these tendencies (meaning you don’t kiss the same gender etc)

You may receive communion if you are a Catholic in a state of grace. Sin requires a willful intent. Do you willfully intend your sexuality?

Many (most?) of us suffer from various types of temptation towards sexual sin. If we do not commit the sin, we may take communion. Bisexuality or homosexuality is no different.

Being bisexual is not a sin. It is a tendency/temptation. So yes, you can receive communion unless you’ve committed a grave sin by acting on that tendency or by committing any other grave sin. If that’s the case then you need sacramental confession (or these days an act of perfect contrition resolving to go to confession as soon as possible).

We may receive Communion when we are in friendship with God, having confessed/been absolved of mortal sin.

Temptations are not sins. Believe me, we all have temptations.
