Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street…

Seriously, though, whose answer do you want? This could be the most disputed question in all of Christianity, and there are a zillion different answers.

The simple one is to take up your cross and follow Christ, but that’s light on specifics.

Include this,

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Note the future tense. That puts you on the path, but you have to complete the journey.

Do you know? What things must someone do?
For me, there are two things that are obvious in the Bible. Repent from our sins, and do to the least.

The first is found at the beginning and the latter towards the end of the Gospel.

Practically that would be to ensure we are always in a state of grace, and then do loving works for Christ.

Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins…Acts 2:37-38
God bless

and Jesus said." let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these,"

we can surmise that the Nazarene wants us to be free of malice and hatred. that the hindering comes when adults teach children the falsness of mortal gain.

Be baptised.

Follow Christ’s commands.

Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and stregnth,

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Forgive those who harm you,

Pray for those who hate you.

Repent when you sin.

Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Jesus.

Have hope and faith in God above.

Anyone who believes in Heaven and Hell will also believe that there is a ‘Master of the Day of Judgment’.

In order to know how to gain entry into Heaven, we need to ask this ‘Master of the Day of Judgment’ for His directions and His alone because any other “directions” that we may get is not likely at all to be correct.

And how do we find the directions of the ‘Master of the Day of Judgment’?

This is not difficult really… all we need to do is look for the Signs that He has provided us.

All of the things that I put on my post were from the Word who was with God and who was God. The Word by whom everything was created. THe Word made Flesh who dwelt among us, Jesus Christ.

Well, repenting is rather besides the point otherwise.
True enough. I wanted to add that before a Muslim said that you are correct in that you should repent and worship Allah alone.

Any issues with my answer, from a Lutheran viewpoint?

Well, it looks like a lot of law.

We would see many of these things as responses to grace rather than prevening requirements to salvation.

But if you do not respond to the grace…
Just like we would see your answer, believing in Jesus, as incorporating these things.

Jesus did say that if we loved him, we would keep his commandments.

Both repentance and faith are gifts…first Law, then Gospel.

Everything else flows from this.

yap , don’t take deity besides God Almighty. God will forgive all sins ( anything He wishes ) on the last day except associating partner with Him.

That’s what we ( Muslims ) want to say you 🙂

Say: “O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but God; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than God.” If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to God’s Will).

(Aal `Imran 3:64)
