Can you tell the difference between hearing an pray answer from Mary or a saint or the holy spirit?

When our cantor is sick and Saint Cecilia sends the cantor from a neighbouring parish, without us having asked the cantor to come, then I know that saint Cecilia has listened to some people´s desperate prayers.

When the Holy Spirit took a breath (that I wasn’t prepared for) in my body to let me know that He is there for me in the midst of despair, then it is obvious that the Holy Spirit is closer to me than I can possibly imagine.

Sometimes I receive answers and they are something I could or would not have thought on my own.

Then I know it was God and not me

Mary and the other saints intercede for us but it is God alone who answers our prayers.

It is so important for us to remember where our help comes from. The saints are intercessors for us. Even if that Saint was able to answer a prayer it would only be because God willed it to be so.
