My wife and I have two children and are not interested in having any more. We are using NFP for this purpose. Is this a mortal sin?

No. But the decision to use NFP because you and your wife “are not interested in having any more” children is a problematic one. Married Catholics must be open to the possibility of life and should take care not to allow themselves to become hardened against the possibility of more children, even when using licit means to prevent the likelihood. To do so opens you to the temptation of using birth control, sterilization, or abortion should NFP “fail” and God give you more children “against your wishes.”
