Man and woman have been married civilly and have children together. They have fallen away from the Church, but want to return. Either one has had a surgical sterilization, but then want to convalidate their marriage in the Church. Can they get the marriage convalidated and rejoin the Church?

Yes. The Church does not require individuals to undergo surgery. The root of sin is in the will, as long as the couple is truly repentant then they are forgiven and can move forward.
