I have a diamond mine in Zaire I would like to sell them. :whacky:

While we are on the topic of the Da Vinci Code, I just say a “History” Channel special, Beyond the Da Vinci Code. I did not know whether to laugh, cry, or yell. When they got to the part on the Albigensian Heresy/Cathars, I felt my I.Q. drop rapidly. I was absolutely stunned at the distortions and biased nature of it. And beware of the National Geographic Channel when they cover the Da Vinci Code, a previous program they had on was pro-Da Vinci Code and anti-Catholic.

Back to the Canadians, I am not surprised.

This is one Canadian who doesn’t believe in the DaVinci Code!

I have often wondered how so many people can believe outrageous new age-y claims about anything, yet cannot accept something as simple as the idea that God once walked amongst us as Jesus Christ, that He rose from the dead after sacrificing Himself for our sins, and that He left with us both the Holy Spirit and the gift of himself in the Holy Eucharist.

One should gladly take the latter over the idea that Jesus had sex with Mary Magdelene.

I am offended by most of what Canadian and Americans believe and do. I can’t believe the flack I get for being Catholic. They have pro-homosexuals day at work but no pro-religion anything, let alone Catholics. Someone said to me the other day that I was lazy because I don’t get up for Mass at 10AM (I work nights and Sunday is my only sleep in day.) Instead, I use my lunch break to attend Mass at 7PM on Sunday. Someone said to me that they weren’t “lazy but, then again, I’m not Catholic.” Too bad my work hates me cause I’d’a open a can of whoop soul right there!

I would love a poll which finds out how many Canadians think they are the reincarnation of Cleopatra, or Nepoleon. :whacky:
