Canadians on Welfare and disability

I continue to pray for the Canadians on
Welfare and disability AND those who are
struggling to make ends meet. May the
Church rally around them and befriend them,
not ONLY to help them financially, but morally
and spiritually, too. May our Church be “a
Church for the Poor”.

Hail holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
Our life, our sweetness and our hope,
to you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To you do we lift up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this Valley of Tears. Turn, then, most gracious
Advocate, your eyes of mercy towards us and
after this our exile, show to us the blessed fruit
of your womb, Jesus, O clement, O loving, O sweet
Virgin Mary. (Pray for us O holy Mother of God, that
we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ).
Amen.
 
Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

I pray for Canadians on Welfare and disability
may see that ultimately, it is God who provides
us w/ what is necessary for living, and to
praise and glorify Christ’s name by living
within our means!

and disability, help them realize that
they need the Church AND THE
CHURCH NEEDS THEM!!

Disability who are finding it hard to make
ends meet b/c of destructive habits that
keep them in a cycle of poverty, let them
know that You are BENEATH them and
under them are the Everlasting Arms!!

Disability,that they thank GOD for supply-
ing what they need for living and enjoyment
of life. That they are ACCOUNTABLE to
God for what they do with their pogey
checks, and that they will glorify God by
living within their means!!

Disability to see YOU ultimately as the One
who gives them their DAILY BREAD.

not wasting and giving ALMS with them
so that YOU might be glorified w/ our
“widow’s mite”.

O Lord, FORGIVE me for my HYPOCRICIES in
SAYING one thing and DOING another, help me
to live ACCORDING to the TRUTH you’ve shown
your servant and so bring glory and honor and praises
to Your Name. Amen.
