Please continue to pray for Candy, as she struggles with cancer.
Another friend, Susan, is undergoing a cancer operation on Wednesday.
Can you pray for Candy AND Susan, that our Good Lord, the Divine Physician cures them both of this horrible disease.

All Praise and All Thanksgiving to our Good Lord, who is with us in the trials of life. And all Praise and All Thanksgiving to him, when we are not!

The best of this last week of Advent be with you all, Prayer Warriors, readers, and faithful.

Praying . . . also for any Medical Doctors that may be seen in the future because it is nice to have already prayed for the Doctor (Our Lord knows who s/he will be even if not born yet ;)). Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of human forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord for all the blessings He pours on us . . . and we do not even realize it. 😉 🙂

Prayer for Medical Doctors
O merciful Father,
Who have wonderfully fashioned man in Your own image,
and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit,
sanctify, we pray You, our doctors and nurses and all those whom you have called to
…study and practice the arts of healing the sick and the prevention of disease and pain.
Strengthen them in body and soul,
and bless their work,
that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation Your Son became Man,
lived on this earth, healed the sick,
and suffered and died on the Cross.

Apology and Thanksgiving Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Creator of all and source of all goodness and love,

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Candy). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Candy’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Candy, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Candy), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.
