Cancer - please pray

Please please pray for Ita who has just been diagnosed with primary stomach cancer. Ita brought me up as my mother died when I was a baby and so she is like my mother to me. She means the world to me. Please pray she makes a full recovery and responds to treatment. Many thanks.
 
Dear Lord please heal Ita of cancer.She has been a wonderful mother figure
to Catherine.We know where two or three gather together
to pray You are there also.I know all things are possible with
You Father.Please grant healing to Ita.Thankyou Lord.Amen

Prayer for Healing
Almighty and merciful Father, by the power of your command, drive away from Ita all forms of sickness and disease. Restore strength to her body and joy to her spirit, so that in her renewed health, she may bless and serve you, now and forevermore.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.
For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)For Ita

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful and beautiful prayers. They mean alot. They are not going to remove the tumour because of it’s position but they are going to treat Ita with chemotherapy. However she is very weak at the moment as she can’t keep any food down. They are widening her oesophagus on Wednesday to try and help her eat before she starts the chemotherapy. Please please continue to pray for her to stay strong and fight this disease. Thanks again for your prayers. And I keep all of you in my prayers also.

Thank you all very much for your beautiful prayers. Please continue to pray for Ita. She had a stroke this morning and has no power down her left side and has lost her speech. Please please pray for her. Thank you.

I’ve just found out, Ita is dying. She only has a few weeks to live. The cancer has spread and after the stroke this morning she is too weak to give chemotherapy to. Please please pray that she has a Holy and Peaceful death and that she enjoys the rewards of Heaven which she so justly deserves.

I will include Ita in the chaplet to the Divine Mercy …
 
Dear Lord, I pray for the soul of Ita, a fellow cancer sufferer, who’s cancer is incurable. Please guide her gently into heaven, where there is no suffering, only joy. And please grant Ita’s family and friends courage and consolation during this trying time. In your name we pray. Amen.
