I have a friend, who’s mother, named Grace, has cancer!

He is a dutiful son who faithfully takes time from work to drive his mother to and from the doctor out of town. He cares for her deeply and I ask your prayers for her well being!

Prayer to Saint Luke:

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed his divinity and his genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Praying to St. Peregrine for Grace’s health & recovery. Praying to the Holy Spirit for her son as well to have continued strength as her caregiver.
 
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”, “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in
their need. For so many years, you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being.

You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to
heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:

I pray for Grace’s health

Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Loving God, please wrap your arms of comfort around this son and his mother, guiding and supporting them through all they are facing. I pray for all those who will care for his mom to have wisdom and compassion. In Your most precious Name, Amen.

PRAYER FOR CANCER PATIENTS

Most Holy Trinity, You who gave us Saint Michael of the Saints as trusted friend and intercessor,
and as patron of those afflicted with cancer, look with kindness on your servants who this day invoke his name.
Through his intercession, comfort those in distress, confirm those in doubt.
Satisfy their spiritual needs from the treasury of your grace.
Remember all those who call on your help, but be especially solicitous of Grace’s mother…
Restore health to this person and to all who are sick.
Sanctify those who endure pain with Christ-like acceptance and grant to all of us a just reward in the life of glory to come. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
 
Praying that the Lord may strengthen your friend’s mother Grace and grant her all necessary graces. Also praying for all necessary graces for your friend.
