Cancer support groups

Does anyone know of a parish that runs a Cancer Support Group?

I am thinking of getting one started up and am looking for someone who might already have one going to talk to.

Br David, no to your specific question, but prayer for your confidence and guidance in your kind endeavor in partnership with Christ.
You have probably already discovered that an internet search can link to secular cancer report groups that may give you ideas that you can incorporate, as the religious aspect is your forte of course. You would already know that cancer sufferers need to be able to safely share, to express their feelings and concerns together, even to enjoy laughter and creative activities if they wish.
