Today was my Rite of Welcoming as a candidate in the Catholic faith, and I’m very excited to be on my way into the fullness of apostolic faith. However, I come from a non-Catholic Christian family, who have not taken my conversion well. In recent months, I’ve found myself falling into personal, yet grave sins that I’m trying to give up, and the harder I try, it seems the harder it is to resist temptation. I’d really appreciate any prayers regarding these issues.

Needless to say, I can’t wait for my first confession, which my parish priest said I could make sometime after the new year! 😃

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

It often does seem the harder we try to do good, the more the evil one tempts us - that is true. However, we can overcome satan through pray and by having others pray for us. I will be praying for you daily before your first confession. I think it’s wonderful you are joining the Catholic faith. Congratulations. Prayers are coming your way! Much love -

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis, peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Awesome…welcome home!! I know that the harder I strive for holiness, the harder satan comes against me. I will keep you in my prayers.
