Candles?

Do candles have to be a specific type of candle to be blessed or can we have any candles blessed? Can we light them for prayer anytime or in memory of people? If we need a specific type of candle are their any good sites for buying in bulk?

You can use regular candles.

There was an old requirement [custom?] that they be of beeswax. I think that was dropped several years ago. It has been my experience that beeswax candles tend to melt and drip more than regular candles; so I go with regular ones. They are also more expensive.
