Cane-wielding ‘elderly ladies’ save Catholic priest from mystery attacker | Fox News

The priest had just finished mass Our Lady Queen of Poland church in Alberta, Canada, when a man he didn’t recognize approached him, threw him to the ground and put him in a chokehold.

Two elderly ladies hit the assailant with their canes so that he let go and ran. They helped chase him out of church.

Irish and Italian ladies wouldn’t hesitate to go after that guy either.

We need to keep an eye out for this sort of thing and be prepared to protect our priests. I’ll swing a candlestick if need be.
