Canonical Transfer UPDATED II

Today I just recieved a call from the Roman Archdiocese’s Chancellor. He asked me to draft a letter approving my transfer to the Ukrainians. Please pray they decide to sign it!! Thank you!
 
Prayers and Congrats! It sounds like it’s actually going through very smoothly.
 
The Roman Chancellor wants to talk with me before he makes his final recommendation to the Roman Bishop. He has already read my letter though, and he did ask me to draft the letter that would grant me approval. Hopefully just crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s.

Thank you Constantine. I was just thinking about you earlier today and about your desire to transfer. When that happy moment comes for you to apply please let me know so that I may pray for you.

As an aside: The fact that the Chancellor asked me to draft the letter that would release me to the UGCC must be a good sign right? I mean it was only a few sentences long so I can’t imagine it is a huge drain on a canon lawyer like himself.

It will be interesting to see what this interview is all about.
 
The Chancellor has agreed to support my request, and on the basis on his support he is fully confident that the Bishop will grant it. He will meet with the Bishop tomorrow. Just a little more prayers please and thank you all!!

I just got an email from the Chancellor, the Bishop will approve it. Thank you all so much!! Glory be to Jesus Christ!!
