O Christ Redeemer,
you placed in the heart of Mother Catherine
Aurelia of the Precious Blood
an ardent desire to work for the salvation of souls
by a life of prayer and penance.
You called her to found a new contemplative Community
for the glory of your adorable Blood and to honour
your Immaculate Mother.
May you now glorify your faithful servant, by granting us,
through her intercession, the favour we ask.
Teach us by her example to meditate on your passion and death,
and to offer unceasingly to God the Father, your most Precious Blood
for all the needs of Holy Church. Amen

Servant of God, Catherine Aurelie Caouette
A Canadian woman who from her youth she was highly devoted to St. Catherine of Siena. She strove to imitate the virtues of her patroness, and like the great Italian Saint, was also graced with divine favors from childhood. She founded a contemplative congregation – the “Sister Adorers of the Precious Blood” – with the motto: “Adoration, Reparation and Suffering”. The intense mystical phenomenon that started in her early years – Ecstasies, Visions, Stigmata – continued throughout her lifetime, making her both the object of veneration and controversy. She died in 1905 with a reputation for being a miracle-worker and a holy soul. Please pray for her speedy Canonization.
