Good morning,
Today’s feast day is for Satin Augustine Zhao Rong and his companions. My daily reader (Magnificat) states that in the year 2000, Pope John Paul II canonized 120 Chinese Catholics and foreign missionaries. I understand that the path to canonization includes the demonstration of a miracle in that individual’s name. In cases like today’s feast, does that requirment still remain in effect?
Thanks, Mike
