Hello everyone
As some of you may know I am planning a trip to the United States to visit a few Priestly orders.
The Fathers of Mercy
The Marians of the Immaculate Conception
IVE ( Institute of The Incarnate Word )
Do any of you know anything about the The Canons Regular of St. John Cantius ? Has anyone visited them to discern a calling ?
Here is a recent email i sent to Fr. Frank Phillips
Hello Father
I am currently looking to join a strong Religious order and join the priesthood. I am from Scotland Father so I am a British citizen would this stop me from joining the The Canons Regular of St. John Cantius.

Dear Christopher,We have men from Canada, but they have all the necessary paperwork, visas, etc. On the side of the community, we do not have the ability to sponsor a candidate. In otherwords you have to supply all the necessary paperwork, fees, etc.Fr. Frank Phillips, C.R.
I think from his reply that all the paperwork and visas would be if i was to join. But does anyone know anything about this ? Unfortunatly i dont have a clue about obtaining visa’s etc.
Does anyone believe a visa would be granted under them circumstances ?
I only ask because if not there would be no real point in visiting The Canons Regular of St. John Cantius.
But if there was a possibility it would be more than worth my while
Thankyou
