Can a cardinal wear the Cappa magna in the ordinary form? Seen it in ef was not sure if it could be done in the novus Ordo because there is not a specific vesting right.
 
Never heard of this I would have thought it was a frat house if I had to guess 😂
 
Yes, he can. It is mentioned in the Ceremonial of Bishops. To be clear I mean the one published as what some saw as the final liturgical book to be revised after Vatican II.
