Yep. That’s how it looks to me, too. One person injured, one person killed. “That which would be a human being, is a human being.”

It’s horrific that there is even a question. Eight months? That’s full term. There are different definitions of “premature”, but normally medical definitions of full maturity fall between 31 and 36 weeks gestation – so a child who is really 29 to 34 weeks old from conception is at the border of full-term maturity. The legal issue is whether he had respiratory and circulatory functions on his own. That’s cruel in the extreme. It puts on NICU personnel the Catch-22 dilemma of removing life-support equipment to see how a patient does, thereby possibly losing him, or keeping all equipment on him as long as they think they may have to, thereby losing his legal status as a human being. And all along, he was a human being for eight months before htis happened.:mad:
 
Don’t know how many weeks she actually was…but say it was 34-36 weeks @ around 8 months…That baby would have survived…May have needed to stay a few days in NICU(my daughter did born at 37 weeks, but thats another issue). But if the baby were born, without that trauma, he would be alive today. How can they say he was just a “fetus” then??? cries God Bless America, someone has to soon.
