Cardiac Catheterization

I will have a medical procedure, the cardiac catheterization, this Wednesday, the 22nd.

This medical procedure comprises the opening of an artery in my leg and inserting a catheter with a camera on its tip. Then, the surgeon works the camera on the catheter up the artery to inside my heart and looks around.

Please pray that this medical procedure goes smoothly for me, this Wednesday.

My brother had it done twice and my Dad once.

Overnight stays in the hospital. Stints put in as neccessary. Back up and at 'um within a few short weeks.

Thank all of you for your prayers.

It went smoothly for me at the VA Hospital cardiology operating room, today.

All they found were three blockages that an EKG revealed a few years back.

The surgeon spoke to me, right after the operation about a bypass and said the doctor would come talk to me on the recovery ward. If the doctor came, it was while I was sleeping off the sedative from the operation.

I and my ride are now safely in our respective residences.
