I agree 100%. I am a naturally curious guy, and I don’t want my imagination running free any more than it has too.
 
Most of it, I’m sure, is repetitive and boring, but I’m all for transparency.
 
When I first heard that Card Muller said this, I didn’t think much of it. Now I’m starting to think (or maybe hope) that it might be a good sign for the Muller/Pell/Burke side of the debate.

If he wants the public to know more of what’s going on in the Synod, it probably means there are good things (from his POV) going on that he wants to receive more attention. If things were going badly for his side, I certainly wouldn’t think he would want to draw more attention to it.

The second article is great. I was wondering about that: if the media “progressive” hype was exceeding what was really happening. Interesting that some of it is actually coming from Vatican press. That seems very likely to me. No offense, but these Cardinals just aren’t all that exciting and hip. It’s like we’re watching Oprah out here.

Yeah, it would make sense. I’ve seen a number of blogs and such say that the presentation to the public is not very representative of what’s actually going on 🤷

CNS is live tweeting as the Synod goes on and said yesterday that the Synod strongly reaffirmed that divorced/remarried without an annulment cannot receive communion, but much of the media seems to present it as a dramatic, evenly split battle, so who knows?

They seem to love to create and post winners and losers, as usual. Well, I have news for the media. The final decision on my annulment process didn’t start with “We are pleased to tell you…” or “Congratulations.” It was almost like I wished I had never started the process. And my ex was offended when she received the same news. It was sad for both of us, actually.
