It does sound like the current administration would like to create its own captive “American Catholic” Church, with theology handed down by Pelosi, Biden, Sibelus, etc., like those toadies the Chinese government wants to select as the approved bishops of a state-run “Chinese Catholic” church.
 
Welcome to the 'progressive" way of handling things- Woodrow Wilson didn’t like the Declaration and the Constitution-look it up its true -niether did FDR, niether does BHO, BHO routinely flouts the Constitution with his appointments of “czars” to oversee his takeover of America.

I will not be surprised if there is an October “surprise” i.e. an attack on Iran for their pursuit of nukes- it is getting very close to the point where the Isrealis will not be able to do it like they did in Iraq and Syria. We need a President who will bring back respect for the US- I don’t really care if other countries hate us as long as they RESPECT us.
 
The First Amendment uses the term “an establishment of religion.” That is singular, not plural. The Amendment also uses the term “free exercise.” Most every religion has three major parts: Worship, Moral standards for behavior, and Social Services. The Catholic Church, especially, is well known for 2,000 years, as providing considerable social services, including health care.

The HHS Mandate is a blatant attempt to arbitrarily CONTROL, by edict, the free exercise of religious social services that are based on Moral standards that are clearly in the purview of the Church to set and protected by the First Amendment.

Health insurance is to help when you get sick. Not getting pregnant is NOT a sickness. If you do not want your wife or woman to get pregnant, that cost should be on you, not your employer. My employer is NOT required to pay for my car insurance, my life insurance, or home insurance. So WHY is this President demanding the Church pay for contraception insurance? And at the same time granting WAIVERS from the Obamacare for so many companies it does favor?
 
Timdol (can I call him Timdol?) is the man. I hope he can be Pope someday.
