It is obvious that the evidence is so thin and the case so badly conducted that the appeal can only fail for political reasons.
Pell is hated in Australia for his conservatism. Had he been less forthright in defending Catholic orthodoxy this case would never have made it to trial.

Praying for justice to be done. And frankly, I think they had insufficient evidence and an unfair trial.
