Cardinal Sarah and Holy Communion

I disagree with the Cardinal whole heartedly. I question his suitability for his present post if this report is accurate.
 
I wonder how anyone can apply the word “diabolical” to a brother or sister in Christ receiving the Eucharist. If the evil one has a part in this it’s in promoting divisions among the faithful.
 
I think the Cardinal’s recent comments are misguided at best.
 
my bad, didn’t look hard enough to see if there was already a thread on this.
 
Maybe it is the effects that receiving Holy Communion on hand has in the soul that diabolic, since most people report that it causes irreverence and things like that?

Even if he does not support communion in the hand, more respect for the Eucharist is a good thing!
 
Not supporting Communion in the hand is one thing, to call it “diabolical” is a whole different ball of wax.
 
Yes, I cannot understand why he would suggest that it is part of a “diabolical attack.” It sounds crazy to me.
