ROMO-CATOLIC DELEGATION VISITS PATRIARCH ALEKSIJ
Cardinal Kreschentsio Sepe of Neopolia Italia and accompanying delegation of Catolics meet at Danilov monastery 1/10/2008 with Patriarch. Cardinal Sepe brought special gift - silver reliquiary of small piece of relic of St. Ianuarij of Neopolia. This was Holy Martyr bishop of undivided Church.
A miracle of blood liquifcation occurs 3 times per year with blood of st. Ianuarij: 19 Sentember feast of saint, 16 December day of deliverance of Neopolia from eruption of Vesuvij, and saturday preceding first sunday of May. Blood of Saint sometimes is becoming liquid rapidly and sometimes after days of prayer.
In May 1976 capsule with blood was kept in Cathedral for week but no miracle was occuring. Absence of blood liquid change is called bad predicator. .
This reliquary will be kept in church of all Russian saints in Danilov monastery.
