I am in the process of finding full-time employment and its not going so good. I just want to know if there are guides to finding employment that are Catholic Christian based?

Tell me when you find out, please!

Some dioceses, maybe all, have Catholic hospitals, nursing homes, etc. on their chancery sites. I worked for a place for Alzheimer’s residents for 9 years. There is a Villa St. Francis in Olathe, Kansas, near my town in the same county as well as a couple others.

I studied Japanese culture and its language (how much I remember, I can’t say, but I’m not conversant in the latter) as well as film studies (I’m suprised I put Catholic acting or actors in a Google search and don’t find more Catholic acting troupes after Pope John Paul 2 got young people all inspired). I have a silly sense of humor (I laugh hard at mad-libs) but, get me on religion and politics and watch out–esp. if I’m connected somehow to a person who is wanting me to do something impious or I feel I should say something! I can get on a roll (not that I am any theologian or totally correct on all details, but I try based on what I’ve learned from EWTN shows and FSSP sermons and catechism classes)! I can make people laugh at my visual humor and smile-moan at my puns.
I also like to play hackysack. Working in japan teaching English (I think I know my language pretty well regarding punctuation and grammar, but I don’t have taught and trained teaching skills) would be fascinating for me. Working in an orthodox Catholic place there would be cool though.

Thanks for asking! One thing I hate about getting a humble job or vocation is that you have to promote yourself so much.
