Thank you all for your prayers. I cannot even begin to describe how thankful I am to everyone in these forums who have continued praying for my family.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I have much longer with my mother. I am currently waiting on a nurse to come to confirm whether or not she is slipping into a coma (the final stage of the disease). She has been sleeping continually, and is unresponsive to any kind of stimulation. I just went to turn her over onto her other side (something we have to do every few hours) and she is just completely limp, doesn’t open her eyes, doesn’t show any type of response to the sound of my voice. If she truly is slipping into a coma, then it probably won’t be much longer.

My heart hurts. Please continue to pray for her to pass peacefully. And please pray that my father and I have the strength to get through this. God bless you all.
