Carmelo Cortez and the Rose Petal Images

I wanted to know if anyone knew about this man Carmelo Cortez, a Filipino who claims to have been visited by the Virgin Mary in 1991.

He says that she told him “I am the Mother of the Eucharist and Grace.”

I ask this because he is scheduled to come to a parish near me June 20th. In the fliers distributed, it asks that people bring white roses, so that petals will be given to everyone at the healing service, and that there have been reports of holy images appearing on the petals and of healing of various ailments.

It also states in the flier that the Diocese of Malolos in Bulacan, Phillipines, has a shrine called the Mother of the Eucharist and Grace.
