I’ve been serving the TLM and very soon the guy I borrow my cassock from is moving. I’ll be needing to buy a cassock for myself, is there a good traditional on-line store I can buy from? Almost every store I’ve looked at has has women “cassocks” alongside the mens. I’d prefer not to support them, does anyone have a preferred merchant?

I’d also like to get a nice simple surplice, not too much or too little/no lace, but a good tasteful happy medium. Any suggestions?

i dont know how fast you need it or how familiar you have gotten with this parish. some women will sew one for you if you get them material. all they usually will ask for in return is for you to pray for them. if you dont know someone, ask around to some of the people you do know. everyone knows the seamstress who helps make their church so beautiful and will point them out quickly.

ive also found that if you call someone like st louis catholic supply co., they do sell them. they just do not advertise them online. however if you call, they know exactly what you will need and send it to you quickly.

i have been lucky finding them on ebay. especially the cassocks. if you email them first before you bid and ask if they can send it next day or priority they usually will.

God be with you and good luck

Cassocks are really tailored garments, unlike chasubles or even surplices.
