I just heard this song by Casting Crowns in full. I really like Casting Crown’s music…this is one of the prettiest songs I’ve heard in a long time.

While the message is definitely of a " religiously conservative" character…I still enjoy it’s message.
 
The message of the song for me IS a very conservative understanding of the Christian message. The whole “redemption theology” of “sacrifice” and “blood”…but the concepts of the song are deeply stirring for me. I sense a deep mystical Truth of love, mercy and hope within the words. They raise my heart in praise to the Light…I feel a profound sense of graditude for what had been done for me by One who knows me best and loves me most. I am loved BECAUSE of who I am…not in spite of who I am.

Thanks. I asked you to explain because people can assume alot about what religious conservative means.

Jeremy Camp’s “I Still Believe in Your Faithfulness” has a similar effect upon me…I “relate” on a deep level to his song…the astounding grace and mercy of God amazes me.

I am a big fan of Casting Crowns and Jeremy Camp, believe it or not.🙂
